In 2000 a new online Encyclopedia began called ‘Nupedia’. In three years it had gathered a total of 20 professionally edited articles. Someone wasn’t happy at Nupedia and suggested that anyone from any culture, age or background could add and edit articles in a new venture called ‘Wikipedia’. (Wiki means ‘fast’ in Hawaiian.)

To the ends of the earth...

At Hope City Church we are committed to taking the love of Jesus to the Nations in Matthew 28:19 the bible says “Therefore, go make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.” In the past decade we have impacted the nations of Uganda, Zambia, Mozambique, Poland, Romania and the Ukraine with our Mission teams.

In March 2010 we led a team from the UK who uprooted and moved to Ghana’s capital, Accra. After 4 months of Pre-launch services, Hope City Church launched it’s first International congregation – In Accra, Ghana!

We've seen some great success over the last few months including seeing the congregation move to it's own building in the heart of the city. It continues to be an amazing opportunity to pioneer a work in a country that needs relevant and life changing churches to rise up! 

You can now be part of helping us pioneer Hope City Accra by joining the Ghana Express  mission teams. Our next team heads out on 28th March – 06th April 2011. These pages have everything you need to know for you to get onboard!!
